Terms & Conditions

Shipments

All shipments are sent directly from our showroom in Nanaimo B.C. by the most economical way possible. The cost of the shipment is the responsibility of the purchaser and will be charged at the time of order. All common carriers will be used upon customers request. Be advised some carriers will charge extra if unable to transport over 8′ lengths. We will make every attempt possible to ensure efficient processing of orders, with most being sent out on the same day, however you should allow for 24 hours for processing. On the rare occasion that a back order should occur we will promptly advise you of the back order and again upon arrival of the back ordered item. Damages

All merchandise in our warehouse has been inspected when we receive it and again prior to delivery. No merchandise will be shipped unless in new condition. When you receive your parcel, inspect and count packages before signing. Once signed for, any claims contrary to the original shipped order will not be accepted.

Returned Merchandise

Any Customer who would like to return an item must obtain an Authorization # which must be obtained within 30 days of purchase date (original receipt required). Any item being returned must be in as new condition including box, fasteners, instructions and product. Special orders (items with custom colour, cutting or drilling) are non-refundable.

Special Orders

Special orders must be accompanied by a purchase order via fax or e-mail. Verbal orders will not be processed until confirmation by PO is made.

Warranty Claims

Any warranty claim should be made direct to the Nanaimo store and must accompany the product at issue. No credit can be issued until an inspection is complete and the product is deemed faulty.

Quotes

All quotes issued by JRE Hardware are component based. Should the scope of the project be changed, the quote will be revised accordingly thus increasing or decreasing the cost therein.

Deposits

Deposits paid to J.R.E. Hardware Inc., are for the sole purpose of reserving hardware products for a specific project. The products are taken out of inventory as soon as the deposit has been received thus making the product unavailable for sale to other customers. Deposits are not refundable.
